I've had a second reader request for a translation into English of the Chinese text of "Guangdong Court Applies Hong Kong Law in Commercial Lease Dispute." With apologies, I can't spare the time to do even a rough translation myself.
Would you (yes, you, one of my mandarin fluent readers) like to do the translation itself? The willing translator will get some exposure (I will post your name as translator, your bio and a link to your website along with the translation). My only caveat -- the translation must be faithful to the original.

Thanks for keeping up to date with this bolg, blogger. I was the original translation requestor and you kindly sent me a Babble Fish translation which was good enough for me to get an understanding of the events. Basically, two HK registered companies resolved a conflict on the mainland, involving mainland assets that had conflict, using HK law. They both agreed to it and were not helped or hindered either way by the Chinese government - well, of course that is where the interest lies (mine, at least). It would be fun if this became a common event. Symbolically, it is fantastic.
